For a lot of us, the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Some of us have been afraid because of past experiences, some have never taken the time to learn about him, and others feel like we already know everything we need to about the Holy Spirit. Over the next few weeks, we’ll dig into the scriptures to challenge some of the ideas we’ve had about the Holy Spirit, and learn how to love, communicate, listen to, and rely on this God we never knew.
For this First Wednesday we are joined by John Bevere founder of Messenger International, an organization whose primary focus is to spread the message of the gospel to people all over the world. In this message, John gives us an introduction to the Holy Spirit. Who he is, what he does, and how he can dramatically change your relationship with God.
Have you ever wondered why we go to church? Is it for the music? The message? To make God happy? Sometimes in the busyness of life it can become easy to forget the importance of gathering weekly, or you’ve never been sure why we gather in the first place. This week Pastor Ethan talks about why we gather and the why being with one another is so important.

The time to prepare for the storms of life is long before the storms ever arrive. That’s why it is so important to take time every day to spend with God and learn His word. In this message Pastor Willie George talks about the importance of your daily “chair time,” and how you can prepare for storms by speaking God’s Word.
In life, storms can come that we simply are not prepared for. These storms come to everyone, and just because you have a storm doesn’t make you a failure—but there is a way to be prepared. Over the next few weeks Pastor Willie George is going to talk about how to be prepared so that you can face storms that come your way with confidence.
Time is something that you can never get more of—once it’s spent, it’s gone. But how do we go about living our daily lives without letting time slip through the cracks? In the second installment of Balancing Act you’ll learn a basic strategy about planning your time wisely, and using it to it’s fullest potential.
This First Wednesday we’re joined by Greg Surratt, the founding pastor of Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Along with pastoring, Greg is also a founding board member of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a church planting network that has given birth to 200 churches in the last 9 years.
In a culture where most people live their lives on the edge, it can be difficult to make time for rest. What most people don’t realize is that not only is rest needed, it’s also biblical. God set a precedent when he created the world by taking one day to rest. In this first week of Balancing Act, you’ll see the importance of rest in a new light, and learn some ways to start making rest a part of your daily life.
Selfishness is the natural condition of the human race, and no one is immune to it. From the very beginning, we see that man has always had a “me first” attitude, and considered self above everyone else. It is only when you come into a relationship with Christ, that you old selfish nature is transformed and you are given a new nature that wants to show love. In the closing week of We Can’t Stay Here, Pastor Willie George talks about the importance of We Church Not Me Church, and how we have a responsibility to love one another just as Christ has loved us.

Just like there is a natural physical growth that takes place over time, the same thing happens spiritually. You enter into your spiritual walk as a "baby," but it's not enough to stay in babyhood - growing people change! This week Pastor Willie George sums up how to tell if you aren't growing in your spiritual walk, and what steps you can take to start growing.
At Church on the Move we believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right, and since Christ gave His best for us, we should never give anything less than our best to Him. In this week of "We Can't Stay Here," Pastor Willie George talks about excellence, and how doing things the right way not only benefits you, but is also an offering to the Lord.
