Gray was held captive by work this week, but Mel & Liz are happy to kick butt in his absence! This is of course perfect timing, since Yvonne Strahovski kicked some major butt in this week's Chuck. Whether you call her "Female Rambo" or "Giant Blonde She-Male," Yvonne put in one of her best performances yet in "Chuck vs Phase Three," written by new Chuck writer Kristin Newman, and directed by Anton Cropper. She drew blood, and she drew tears -- reminding us that the emotional core of our favourite show is what keeps us coming back. Ratings were low this week against the Dancing With the Stars performance finale, though DVR and online numbers are sure to be high as word of mouth spreads.
