It was a week of mixed emotions in the cup for the lions with a 5-2 home FA Cup win against Braintree Town which saw Harry Smith score a hat trick quickly followed by a 1-3 home defeat to Wycombe in the Checkatrade Trophy. Our 1st guest on the show was Lewisham councillor & head of the Scrutiny Committee Alan Hall talking about what he can comment on about the upcoming meeting on the 15th December where the CPO issue which affects not only the club but other local resident’s property surrounding the ground will be heard. After Fleetwood paid the penalty the weekend before last with the lions coming out 2-1 winners at home and then winning away from home at Oxford by the same result coming from behind and what has to be a contender for goal of the season from Steve Morison to put some of the hurt to one side after the home defeat to Bolton! But yet again the Lions failed to keep clean sheets but the wins lifted the Lions up to 13th in the table 3 points of a playoff place with a game in hand but did it lift Graeme’s gloom?
