A Scouser in the analyst's chair but Dave is still with us. An examination of an out-of-sorts Liverpool side with an answer or two. Looking forward towards the January window and who and what's needed - A bit early for that, maybe? The Panel looks at the thorny question of the relationship between clubs and international teams over players. Do clubs have an absolute right? Should international teams recompense clubs for injuries? Do international teams add to the value of players? And what's this of a new slave trade? A new voice in A Kick In The Grass, Godfrey Deeny, and he considers the best goal scorer of our time who has become an object of derision - Shevchenko. Is there hope yet? Scouse Paul on his trip to the worst ground in history and who's the ugliest man's saddest brother? Wiggles returns in the Feedback and he still doesn't like the podcast, but the gang have some fun. MP Red, when you really need to maintain your serenity.

What to make of the dearth of goals from Liverpool these days? The international break is to blame? Or rotation? Or dour defending? And just about the worst performance in 10 years. The Panel looks at the start to the season in the Premier League. How significant is Mourinho's loss? What to make of Martin Jol's position? Some serious insight into the whys and wherefores of Liverpool's great start and stutter to the season. Clive Toye with some great stories of Anfield in the 60s with Dennis Law, Mussolini and snowballs. Huh? No Kate, but there is Travels with Scouse Paul. Now what's this about a place in the next round of the cup and a microwave? And the Feedback sees some fun and games with Wiggles. Who? MP Red, if you don't get it now, there'll be a serious absence in your life!

How do you stop divers? Can you? Is your daughter marrying a football agent the worst thing that could happen? Kate with a very good Heroes And Zeroes and Michael Henderson with a very prescient piece A Kick In The Grass about chairmen and executives who think they are managers and whether Jol and Mourinho will last! And what's this about Guinness in the British Embassy in Brasilia in the feedback? It makes sense, seriously. MP Red, the very best of humanity (or so we tell ourselves!).

A quick whirl around the transfer market. Liverpool are involved in that, right? The Panel looks back at the season that was. Respect but no love for certain near neighbours. Mark Gonzales seems to be the recipient of an unwanted award. Overall was the season a success for Liverpool? Well.......Michael Henderson reminds all that it's only Estonia and he's not impressed, Beckham or no. Kate weighs in with a Heroes and Zeroes that's on the money and the Feedback. Well, if no Simon, what happens there? Well, there are one-eyed men in uniform from Alabama! (Seriously). And our quiz chugs along. MP Red, for those languid summer days. It's just perfect.

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 18 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:26:15

A new voice in A Kick In The Grass and an old one from Italy. Double the value, double the pleasure. What's that about the powers that be assuming that Liverpool fans will spend their money anyway? Now that little game in Athens? Yep! We got it. Simon is here with a very interesting take on why Chelsea were so poor in the semis and a quick look at the end of season games - a youth FA Cup thrown in for good measure. And then guess what's dissected  in the panel? Mascherano on Kaka? Gattuso on Gerrard? Who's going to score the goals? Pirlo? Maldini? What is it that Simon wishes he could whisper in Rafa's ear before kick off? And who nails their colours to the mast with a prediction? Kate is absent again from the Feedback, but a really topical Heroes and Zeroes all the way from Alabama. And the very last chance in the contest. We have nothing more to give away after this. And Athens, again. Always Athens. MP Red, it's what you need, it's what you must take, it's the only game in town.

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 17 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:12:56

MP Red, where would you be without it?

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 13 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:26:29

An overdue return after a long Christmas and New Year's. No Kate? Maybe. Simon takes a look at much of the off field goings-on with a nod at two cup games. Neill escaped? And what about Reina - on his way? Dudek gone, right? Would Mascherano make a difference? And some very interesting youth signings from South America, Sweden and maybe Holland. The panel has a look at Liverpool's form. What about those two cup games? But only one goal conceded in the league. Why the difference? No Gerrard fans here. Heroes and Zeroes returns, but where's Kate for the feedback? And what's this about nudity? And who's the perv in the booth? Simon makes that call. MP Red - the cure for what ails you in this cold January.

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 12 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:37:31

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 11 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:30:31

Four European winners medals, eight league championships and many other accolades, this man has it all from a Liverpool point of view. Sitting in with the crew just after the Arsenal match, he looks at that plus the impact of the injury to Sissoko; rumors have Benitez flying the coop and a new keeper from France or Spain. New owners? And then the man himself, talking about his time at Liverpool. The best team in Europe - tales and memories of four European Cup triumphs after a start at lowly Northampton Town. European nights at Anfield - St. Etienne in particular; memories of Emlyn and Paisley and all those trophies. They just kept coming. And that's only Part I of this two part interview. Michael Henderson weighs in with a look at what and who is a 'good' pro. Kate has a Hero - she went to dinner with him and a Zero she didn't go to dinner with. And the zoo that is the feedback section rolls on unabated. So catch Phil Neal here!

 LFCNY.org - MPRed episode 10 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:15

We start with a look at Noel White. Caught telling tales out of school and he pays the price and Simon's not too impressed with Gerrard's antics. Kirkland gone to Wigan, but will he survive another freak injury? A requiem for a Salford debacle with some silver linings at Anfield. The panel looks at the problem of racism in the game in a no-holds barred talk. Obviously not acceptable, but what about a massive 300 euro fine for some Spanish clubs? And what was that Ian Wright called Roy Keane again? This discussion could have run and run. A Kick In The Grass sees Jay Mwamba look at racism in the game in Europe and Africa. Egypt and South Africa go to Africa to play their games? When they are already there? Kate's back with Heroes and Zeroes and she's not picking on Chelsea, but they are such inviting targets. Your feedback sees Kate corrected for an obvious mistake - well, not really; she's waiting for letters of apology. Want to win a pair of Simon's underwear? You can, you know.......And more invective for Gerrard. Conor knows how to cook scouse, but not Kate. And Kate and Simon find that they knew each other way back when in 1986. Well, kind of. And the most famous piece of sports commentary ever? Not it's not from 1966 but from 1981. A podcast that will enrage, engage and outrage. It's all here.........
