As the clock ticks closer to 3p.m. Liveline listeners are still saying they will march on the 10th December and they will not pay the new charge. A 10 minute poll which asked 'Are the new water charges acceptable?' - OF THE 15,000 people WHO voted, 71% said NO.
As we await the final word on the time frame and new water charges, Rita, Paddy, Helen, Barry, Monica and John voiced their opinions on the prospective costs and their impact.
Julie is about to emigrate to be with her husband who has been away from his family for six months. Her mother Catherine also spoke of the sadness of watching her daughter and young grandchildren leave these shores.
