The Trinity is a mystery: a deeply complex idea at the heart of the Christian faith. So if it’s a mystery, why bother thinking about it at all? Praying for the Holy Spirit was an important part of Jesus’ life and the life of the early Church. In the last talk in our series on prayer, David Stroud looks at how we can be empowered by the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

The Right Revd. Ric Thorpe is the Bishop of Islington. He is responsible for London’s Church growth strategy and is supporting the creation of 100 new worshipping communities within the Diocese of London by 2020. We were thrilled to have him with us as our guest speaker at all four services.
