It's been a bit quiet since our last podcast, but with things kicking off in PES-land a little earlier than usual we return with podcast 134. Asim and Alan pick up their mics to discuss the fantastic news that ex-head honcho of WENB and Kitana Media Network Mr Adam Bhatti has joined Konami to become PES European Community Manager. The guys talk about how this appointment is great for the Community and touch upon the reasons why he is kind of a big deal when it comes to PES. Latest podcast dedicated to the upcoming PES 2013 option file, as we reveal two new members and a new website! This week, on the backend of a normal Gamescom, we bring on the two new faces of the network, to detail one of the most anticipated things alongside a PES launch - the WENB option file! I give you Rob and Steve, previously named Vinnie and Jaymez on the boards, the two who have been tasked to create the file this year. We also announce a new WENB Editing site, which is launching in September, and is something that will go a long way in unifying users across the world with easy access to our unique content, and of course the wider communities work. A quick fix poddy, just in time for Gamescom We get on the air to discuss the recent demo, and all the euphoria around it from both the community and press. While there are obvious issues that need ironing out, there's no denying PES 2013 has caused quite a stir, and looks set to make a huge impact later this year. Never before have we spoken so in-depth about the future versions of PES before, especially this early into pre-release of a yet unreleased title. Sure, in the past we've hyped up big changes, especially with PES 2011. While it didn't turn out to be what we all wanted a nextgen PES to be, it certainly was the first title that broke away from the previous template. The subject just simply has to be tackled, especially with the PES team very open about discussing plans for next year. It's not something we agree with, but with so much information in the public domain, we dissect everything to bring you closer to the truth - especially with many questions arising. So tune in for an exclusive look into the future of PES, and something for you guys to savour, as while the dev team are more than happy to discuss the impending future, we'd like to focus on PES 2013 as soon as this podcast is over. Kitana Media team head to Chiswick for some PES action. It's true, 6 of us went down to Konami HQ in Chiswick, situated in the BSI tower, to see the most recent code of PES 2013. The way things are though, we too had to make cuts, and decided the 3 people on the podcast would be myself, Alan, and...Suff! It's been an unbelievable week. Never has there been so much content for a PES game at E3. Videos, screens, information etc, it's a bit too much to take. Last week we had positive press impressions, and this week we're impressed ourselves from the content that has come. Not all is rosey though, as myself and Alan discuss, as there still seems to be a constant negative in most of the videos. Despite this, it can't quite dampen the excitement we both feel for the game, especially with our next playtest of PES 2013 just days away. A great end to a fairly awesome day! Its been very interesting today. It's not every day press impressions are more positive than ours. We're used to them being very mainstream, and focusing on the wider audience, failing to pick up on just why people play PES. It's welcome, even if the comparisons with the competitor aren't something we're keen on. As usual Alan joins me on this weeks podcast, where we round up thoughts on everything that was released today, and divulge a little more in PES 2013 impressions. We go into all the elements that have wowed most of those who attended the playtest in Brazil, as well touch on what to expect from E3. The first ever podcast dedicated to community focus, starring...the community! We're back on the airwaves, and have brought with us a new podcast focused on answering questions, and featuring your mp3 recordings. Both Anderson and Jeronimoe get their (long) mp3 musings on this weeks show, while a number of emails are read out from the regulars.
