 Episode 209- THE FUGITIVE | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:07:48

This week on Rewatchability, we reopen the case of a man wrongfully convicted of a heinous crime, a man whose experience speaks to all the flaws and corruption in the American justice system. Of course I’m talking about Richard Kimble in 1993’s remake of the classic TV show The Fugitive. Starring Harrison Ford with a beard, Tommy Lee Jones in a cardigan, Joe Pantoliano in pants and Julianne Moore, who is lovely. It thrilled us as kids, but has time caught up to The Fugitive? Listen below to hear the truth! Subscribe on iTunes if you don’t believe me. Stitch yourself up on Stitcher. Don’t follow us on Twitter, you’ll never catch us, but if you can give us some money, whatever you’ve got on you, help us out on Patreon. We didn’t do this! You have to believe us!  208- A VERY MERRY SHANE BLACK CHRISTMAS | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:03:20

Rewatchability is a comedic pop-culture nostalgia podcast hosted by J.M. McNab, Rob LaRonde, and Blain Watters. It is produced independently in Toronto, ON. The show began in the summer of 2011. In 2012 it was profiled by The A.V. Club and in 2015 our podcast appeared on CBC Radio’s Podcast Playlist. The aim of the show is to re-watch movies and television shows from when we were younger, and review them in an interesting and hopefully humourous way. Hopefully. Rewatchability contains coarse language and immature subject matter; our main goal is to be funny, so please don’t take anything too seriously… especially you Ghost Dad.

You will be visited by three spirits; The Last Boy Scout, Lethal Weapon and The Long Kiss Goodnight. Without these visits, you cannot hope to avoid the path we tread! I mean, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Settle down by the crackling fireplace channel and listen below. Oh come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant and subscribe on iTunes. Follow us on Twitter.  Episode 207- STAR WARS: THE SPECIAL EDITIONS | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:14:51

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (AKA the 90s)… It was a period of civil war. Galactic Emperor George Lucas had restored his iconic STAR WARS films, re-releasing the the trilogy to theatres to be discovered by a new generation. But the rebel fanboys would rather see the franchise go down in defeat than live in a universe where Greedo shoots first. Now, as we eagerly anticipate STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (some of us VERY eagerly) we discuss Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi the way many of us first saw them– with Han Solo digitally manipulated so he could step on Jabba the Hutt’s tail and the soundtrack to a massage parlour played over the ending of the one of the most influential and beloved trilogies in cinema history! Regardless, we loved the Special Editions when we were kids, but how do they hold up now? Find out by listening below. Also you can use The Force to subscribe on iTunes.  Episode 206- DROIDS | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 56:10

Good masters, if it’s agreeable with you, perhaps we might tune into Rewatchability’s candid discussion about DROIDS, the animated adventures of R2-D2 and C3PO, featuring Anthony Daniels and the actual R2-D2 as himself! It doubtlessly enthralled countless generations of youthful Obeks, but how does it hold up against analysis of our master’s caliber? You can cast this in your pod by clicking below, oh and do instruct your R2 unit to subscribe on iTunes. My circuits are buzzing with delight!
