Today is the first day of school. This is where they start Powerful thinking in our Public Schools. It's very frustrating to a parent. We spend a lot of money, a lot of time, a lot of effort making sure our part of the process is working. Unfortunately, the system seems to suffer from "it's not my job" syndrome
This situation is desperate. It's been 5 days and 50,000 people are still stranded on rooftops starving. Thousands are dying of thirst in waist deep water. People are literally dying where they sit waiting for this government to help them, but where is our government? These are working people, taxpayers, just like you and me, and they need HELP desperately! Why has it taken this government 5 days to get to Louisiana? We can get aid halfway across the world over-night. We need more than creative thinking on this one, we need ACTION!
Mistakes, we all make them, we hate to admit them, but we all make them. And unless we're willing to make some mistakes, you know, to take some chances and screw up, you just can't do anything great. We all have within ourselves greatness.
I challenge the government of this country to come up with a plan that actually makes some sense. Sometimes I think that countries and governments, in particular, are like a bunch of rowdy kids sitting at your table misbehaving. They're full of egos they're full of attitudes it's bad behavior.
I think the whole search thing is a load of crap. Its someone taking my time to make other people feel warm and fuzzy. Perhaps it does make people feel better but mostly its trying to make the masses feel like something is being done. There is a price we pay for Freedom.
One day, a snowy day I had this revelation of thought, I wasn't paying attention because I had so much on my mind and I crashed into the car in front of me. I get out of the car and I say to this old man "Im so sorry" and this old man says to me "Don't Be in Such A Hurry, I'm Worried About You - Slow Down, Don't Be in Such a Rush!". And the guy says forget it.
We connect in a multitude of ways but connecting as a global people is a lot harder to do. It has to be personal, there has to be some familiarity or it's hard to make the connection. I think that's why some of these major religions are floundering. They don't make it personal because it's very difficult to connect to something that worked 2000 years ago.
