Ride Snowboards - RCTV

The crew loaded up the truck in Denver, CO and crammed in for the 20 hour drive to Seattle, WA for the Ride Shakedown. Joe Mango and Scott See were competing in the Shakedown, Mikey P. was filming and Steven Waters was drinking/hosting. They laughed they cried, they lapped the park at Summit Central. Central has never seen tree jibs like these guys can throw down. You can thank the RWU crew and their logging skills for the wide open runs and vistas you so causally enjoy up there.

Right after SIA in Denver, the crew decided to get in the truck and head out East to follow the record breaking winter they have had this season. With feet upon feet of snow in the Twin Cities area, Minnesota was the place to be. January was a crazy month for us, we spent a little time down in Denver preparing for SIA, doing some sledding, and a day at Winter Park for the on snow demo. We are also introducing Celia Miller to the Ride With Us crew, she has recently signed with Ride and will be joining us in future episodes.

With some of the homies in town for the Dew Tour, Scott and Steven spend some time with the rest of the Ride crew having some good ole times. Steven decides to build a junk yard park for the boys and have a nice little break between practice days. Scott has an unfortunate accident during qualifiers and to top off the week Matt Ladley takes 2nd place in Superpipe.

Ride With Us - Episode 3 - Tahoe Bound

Ride Snowboards today revealed the fifth and final limited edition model in the DH2 Artist Series for the 2010/11 winter season with the DH 2.5. Lowbrow L.A.-based artist, Coop (AKA- Chris Cooper), graced the DH 2.5 with his signature style that combines the worlds of hot rods, B-movie monsters and alluring female characters.The Oklahoma born artist finished high school, skipped art school, and arrived in Los Angeles in the late '80s where he immediately got to work subverting the mainstream. Chances are good you've seen some manifestation of his work be it smoking devils, hotrods, devil-girls, monsters, or the 100+ posters he created for the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Sex Pistols and many others. The Ride breakdown on the Shakedown. Here are some highlights from the Ride team and finals at the Shakedown at Mt. Saint-Sauveur 2010. This has been one of if not the largest turn outs for the Shakedown ever. Great weather, great set-up, great course and riders. The rest and the best was left up to the amazing crowd that came out to cheer on the pro's and party.

Part 2 of the Ride team trip to Turkey. Look for a feature article next year in Snowboarder Magazine. This is a behind the scenes look at life on the road and what goes down when we weren't shredding. Turkey was an amazing country and even at low tide the team had a very productive shoot and was stoked to see the sights and smells of Turkey. For riding footage you will just have to wait for next season's snowboard vids like Videograss, Think Thank and Standard Films.

Here we have part 1 of 2 a little behind the scenes look at a recent Ride team trip to Turkey. Darrell Mathes, Austin Hironaka, Hana Beaman and Alex Cantin get all touristy in Istanbul and jump around to few different resorts checking out all of what Turkey has to offer. Dont expect to much snowboarding action here as you will just have to wait for the bangers to come out in next seasons films from Think Thank, Videograss and Standard Films. It was a fun trip and most of this video shows the good times we had between shooting.
