On this episode of the WDW Kingdomcast we talk about some of our ideas for great additions to The Great Movie Ride at MGM Studies! This is a change of pace for us, usually you wouldn't hear us talking about how to improve an opening day attraction but in this case, it is well overdue. The ride system is fine the way it is, but the show scenes could be changed to some different movies to give the ride a whole new appeal. Wen also throw some ideas around for the very very weak finale of the attraction, what it was to be, what we got, and what it could be! But between you and me, this is no ordinary tour because the Great Movie Ride brings these movies to life, and puts you right in the middle of the action. On this episode of the WDW Kingdomcast we welcome back Hunter Nixon and are joined by Tim Grassey of wdwthemeparks.com! Hunter and Tim recap their recent trip out to Anaheim for the D23 Expo! They share with us some of the exhibits on the floor including the "hat box ghost" animatronic and The Land pavilion concept model which was probably one of the coolest things in the entire expo! On this episode of the WDW Kingdomcast we are joined by Mac as we talk about the current phase of the  "Next Gen" system being rolled out at the moment, “Fast Pass+”. We go over our opinions on possible headaches this could cause adding a “Fast Pass+” system to attractions that really don’t need it (TTA/CoP/Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse). We also talk about some benefits to the system… I think?  How it will impact the park is purely speculation, no one will really know its impact until its fully rolled out, and all the bugs are worked out. It is an issue many don’t seem to happy about in the community. Most seem to not see the current system as something not broken to begin with, while some feel planning the trip down to the minute is an awful thought.
