Dutchman Walter Hes came to Australia in the 80s and now at the age of 80 he has published his first book. The Dutch will again be prominent at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade this year. Former Curator Modern art at the AGNSW Hendrik Kolenberg made a special trip to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam to see the Hercules Segers exhibition. Rembrandt owned a few of this works. Hendrik says Segers was far ahead of his time. Some really old word in Dutch have kept their original spelling.
