World War II Medal of Honor recipient and retired Denver USPS employee George Sakato (center) is surrounded by friends and former co-workers during a Denver celebration of Sakato's appearance on the new Medal of Honor Forever Stamps Folio. Riight: Young wizard Harry Potter as shown on one of 20 stamps from the new collectible booklet chronicling Harry and his friends' cinematic adventures. This edition of Your Postal Podcast celebrates one member of "The Greatest Generation," George Sakato, a former Denver postal clerk who also happens to be one of just eight surviving World War II veterans who received the Medal of Honor. New Forever Stamps issued this month honor Sakato and 463 other World War II Medal of Honor recipients.
