The Video Games Show

In a surprise move we decided to take our show on the road!  We found out that there was a video game developer meetup here in our home town of St. Louis so Rich and Kraft crashed the party and ate all the mozzerella sticks.  That's how we roll.  Kidding aside, we talk to some established and up-and-coming game developers from our home town!  Joining us on the air this week is Graphite Lab, Six3Six studios as well as Dan and Wes, two local developers who put this shindig together.  In other news there is a really cool event we've been invited to in July.  Come join us on an all new Video Games Show to find out more!

On this edition of VGS, hosts Rich and Kraft respond to some interesting complaints regarding the previous Messiah of Pants incident. Also, Nick bitches about the Portal 2 hype, Nintendo Junkie reviews the 3DS, and a long lost special guest calls in. All this plus Rich is on the verge of dying (thankfully.  Greg might move up the ladder now!)... and more on this weeks VGS!

We finally find out who is our show's number 1 fan!  Plenty of news this week we talk about Gamestop's latest push into the digital market, trash talking from Sony concerning Nintendo, and more!  We also talk a little about the continuation of Telltale's Back to the Future episodic adventure.  By the way, for android app owners, there is a pdf available with pictures from the studio.  We apologize for the malfunctioning movie and are currently in the process of getting the player fixed.

We are back with tons of news, 3 reviews and on top of that: our first hands-on with the 3DS!  Also, the long wait is over!  VGS now has an android app available on the market!  The app offers easy access to all of our shows, built-in options to interact with us live on the air, and plenty of app-exclusive content.  This week app-owners will get a video tour of the VGS studios.  Don't have an android phone?  Don't fret: you still have access to this all-new Video Games Show!

Our apologies for the lack of a show last week:  the studio burned down.  Well, not really, but after a string of problems our will to record was torched.  We're back this week with plenty of news from GDC, a surprise guest, and Rich tells you why you suck for not already owning Bulletstorm!  

Did anything special happen this show?  To be honest with 3 tests this week I can't really remember.  We didn't burn down the studio which means the show was nowhere near as good as it could have been, but I bet it was still a good one.  You be the judge; check out this week's Video Games Show!

VGS for two weeks in a row?  What a wild idea!  We're experimenting with a slightly different news format.  Instead of rapid firing through a bunch of news we don't necessarily care much about we've focused on the things we find intriguing.  Also we'd like to welcome Engineer Greg to his first episode on The Video Games Show;  hopefully he'll stick around for a couple more.

Hoooo buddy!  It seems we are in full swing with the next generation of handheld consoles!  We drop tons of new details about Sony's upcoming successor to the PSP, codenamed the NGP.  We also talk about the Playstation-driven Xperia, more info on the 3DS, and plenty of other news to boot!  Come join us as we come back from our snow-break with a vengence on this all new Video Games Show!

Much like the rest of the country we were slapped upside the head with snow.  We swear our schedule is about to be getting back on track.  That being said, here is a delayed episode of The Video Games Show.  That being said we will be back AT OUR NORMAL TIME on Monday!  (Mother Nature permitting of course.  Who knows, we might be in for another snowpocalyse.) 

Well we finally made it back on campus and were able to pull the lost episode.  While the news might not be current the discussion is still relevant.  There may be some humor involved too.  Honestly I can't remember.  My apologies if the show is lame.

I know, I know... Where is 305?  Truth be told I forgot to pull it from the studio server before we left for the evening and now the campus has been shut down and inaccessible for the last week.  It's out of order but I am going to attempt to retrieve it this week sometime.  That being said it pales in comparison to this week's episode.  We go through some news, have some serious insightful discussion and talk about the new games added to our repitoire thanks to the great Christian tradition known as Christmas!  Come join us for the final episode of 2010!
