Sam, Tina, and Alice are joined this week by special guest James Silva, who, for those not in the "know," is behind the XBLA game Dishwasher Samurai. We talk about legalizing switch blades for one-armed humans, shoehorning multiplayer into videogames, leaky codblop maps, and dressing like Solid Snake. Also, our call-in question mailbox seems to have contracted some sort of audio venereal infection we just can't get rid of.

Frank is taking the day off, so the Games, Dammit! foursome consists of Thierry Nguyen, Matt Leone, Jeremy Parish, and his subordinate, Tina Sanchez. This week, we talk about the rash of cancellations, the pronunciation of "Weinstein," and lawsuits. Games-wise, we chat about "Halo Dance Central," educate Tina about Choplifter HD, let Jeremy espouse about Monster Tale and Grand Knights History, and figure out what other Caucasian developers have made a Resident Evil game. Questions we tackle include ones about licensed music in games, the overexposure of Kevin Butler, the Street Fighter 2 control scheme, and a bizarre apology that Jeremy doesn't understand. After our strange disappearance from podcast-dom, we return with a double feature! This week (during the first half), Sam shares how old he is by remembering his first Street Fighter experience, Alice names her cat Sprinkles, and we suggest game music tracks. In the second half, Scooter, Jeremy, Tina and Sam find time to make fun of each other. A lot has happened in the four weeks since our last episode. The Game Developer's Conference came and went, Charlie Sheen jumped the tiger-shark (-blood...or whatever), Winter gave way to Spring, and the largest earthquake in Japan's recorded history rocked our tiny island home. But the show must go on, as they say, and so the 8-4 five are back in action with personal quake stories, first-month 3DS reflections, early thoughts on Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, the month in news, and more.

With Jeremy out working on our big Nintendo 3DS scorecard, we rope in 1UP community manager Tina Sanchez as our Jeremy-for-the-week. We chat about the upcoming 3DS launch and some of its games, the GBA's anniversary, and Resident Evil's anniversary. Other game-talk include Duke Nukem, Crank the Weasel, and the next David Cage game. Questions-wise, we talk about gaming-related injuries, Catherine coming to the U.S., and some book recommendations. Oh yea, and we call this the "Sworcery-cast" because we get Matt Leone to talk about how Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP.

We couldn't think of a topic, so the onus was on you caller folks. So, now you can listen to Jeremy Parish, Frank Cifaldi, and Sam Kennedy talk about River City Ransom 2, Famicom Disc System (FREAKIN' FINALLY), Demon's Crest, and other random stuff.

No news items or voicemail questions this time -- we talk about: Dead Island, El Shaddai, Uncharted 3, Mortal Kombat, Shoot Many Robots, Shadows of the Damned, Darkness 2, Alice: Madness Returns, Hawken, Trenched, and more (that was only half the list, listen for the rest!). We still get sidetracked along the way, but seriously, this time, it's about games, dammit.
