Episode 85 - When Egos Collide | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This week is an episode of 2 halves.  Firstly we talk about how some of the aspects of how our Campaign of Carnage event is going to work in a couple of months time along with some discussion of the UKGT that Mike is organizing.  Then after a slight musical interlude (and it wasn't Postman Pat) we talk about the Heartfaux tournament that 3 of us went to, but don't worry, its not a play by play, more a discussion about Henchman led games and there relative power level along with a disucssion about how there are some games that the final score can be pretty much guaranteed by the end of turn 2.We finish up talking about the upcoming Canterfaux event as this will be Bens first event in the bigger community.  Oh and of course how Misaki is superior to Mei Feng in every aspect (can you tell who writes these blurbs)Hope you enjoy the episode and we'll speak to you again soon.

 Episode 84 - Twofer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Sparking of something that Ben mentioned last episode, this time around we talk about how we have been slotting various wave 2 models into our wave 1 crews and how the whole of wave 2 has been accepted by us.Before we get there though we have a good chat about Joels latest tournament escapades at Pubfaux and discuss the thorny issue of tournament dropouts.  We also talk a little bit of MCC and the GT as well as loads of other minor digressions. We will try and get Conrad back on, honest, as he is getting pretty tired of doing the Ben voice every episode.

Episode 83 - Hi ho, Hi Ho | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

It starts off with 2 hosts, then 3 and eventually ends up with 4 including our lovely guest host the mighty Henchman Lee (thats Mr Bendyboards to us mere mortals)This week its a lot of chat that unsurprisingly for us wanders all over the place as we digress down different tangents and to be honest we start having interesting discussions about stuff, go off topic and then never get back to the original point.  Still gives us something to talk about next time.

Episode 82 - We chatted all night | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Back from Adepticon and we hit the street running with our longest episode for a while.  Obviously Adepticon chat takes up a good chunk of time but we touch on a lot of other things as well, so many in fact that I can't actually remember what else we talked about.Still that will make it a nice surprise as you listen through.Joel does drop off the call at one point but we decided just to leave that in the show, we found it funny at least.Enjoy and we'll talk again soon

Episode 81 - A little bit of sugar | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

So this week Mike talks.  In fact Mike talks a lot.  About Collodi and how he fears turning into an NPE, Adepticon, MCC and even TractorFest (you may well ask, listen and all will be explained).  He then gets tired of talking and lets the others get a word in edgeways to discuss the Spirit keyword. We didn't talk about loads of stuff that we should have done so sorry to the folks who asked us to plug something but we didn't.  Will do better next time.

Episode 80 - Where’s Graham Chapman when you need him | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Don't really have  a lot to say here this week, and lets face it, who actually reads these bits anyway.  I know I don't, I just want to get to listening. So stuff gets talked about, many people laugh and we get derailed with regularity which I guess makes it pretty much a normal show.More details of Heartfaux can be found in this thread http://wyrd-games.net/community/topic/98760-heartfaux-charity-tournament-may-10th-york-uk/

 Episode 79 - Walifools Revenge | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This week sees the return of the Walifools (@vanilladicemark and @rcat78) as they record a tournament report on the way back from Twatifaux in Geelong.  Of course being Australians swearing is a part of life for them which means the odd four letter word does creep through, so please put on your headphones. If your boss gets cross at you its not our fault.Hope you enjoy it and speak to you again next week - this bi weekly thing is going really well don't you think?

Episode 78 - Toobs and Glutes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Whilst Mike is supposedly away on business, he has allowed the rest of us to record an episode (cause he is very kind and nice and lovely). Ultimately he has editorial rights, so we don't know how the episode will turn out! Ben, Conrad and Joel talk about the new models due for release, wave 2 goodness and our experiences with the wave 2 models, upcoming tournaments as well as the issues with an ever increasing number of Malifaux events causing calendar clog. Conrad talks about his comfy slippers as well. Enjoy!

Episode 77 - Cats and Headphones, Oh My | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Howdy.  This week we have a spread of presenters across 15 timezones as Joel and Mike are joined by the guru of all things Malifaux, Justin, and from the mythical counterweight continent 'XXXX' Walifool Mark Williams, as we chat about Avatars, the recently completed Wave 2 and a few other things besides.  Before that we have a preview / discussion of Smogcon, ToMB and why Conrad ruins it all by turning up.  Remember that #blameconrad is most definitely a thing.

Episode 76 - Top of the World | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

I know its only been a week since the last episode and we are supposed to be biweekly now but Conrad and Mike both had some time so recorded a discussion about how they got on at the Lost Love 2 event last weekend. As well as covering their games they talk about picking up a new crew, game length and the differing deployment types that were in use. After they finish chatting there is a conversation with Sean who is this years Head Honcho at Adepticon where you can find out some more details about the forthcoming Malifools branded fate deck.Hope you enjoy and we will be back next week with our pre Smogcon show.

 Episode 75 - A Brand New Day | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Another week another episode of Malifools. No Conrad this week but we are joined by our new regular co-host Ben Sime as we chat about everything that's been happening in the Malifaux community over the last couple of weeks. This takes us from Vappafaux last weekend (where Mike yet again beat Joel, getting easy now :)) through the new Gaining Grounds 2014 document and has us end up down in the #ToMBs. Whilst we meander along this path we chat about new artwork, rankings, tournament sizes and some hopes for the forthcoming Avatars.Oh there are also the obligatory plugs for Fools Daily, Malibros and bendyboards.co.uk :)Vappafaux sponsors were Fenris Games, Tiny Worlds, Urban Construct and Warbases.Find out more about #ToMBs at http://taleofmalifauxbloggers.blogspot.co.uk/

 Episode 74 - Spatchcock | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This week we are joined by Kevin Bryant of the Flock and Awe podcast (http://flockandawepodcast.wordpress.com/) to answer some questions that he has about Malifaux. Coming from a Warmachine background this leads to some interesting discussions about tactics in that game crossing over into Malifaux and how just killing your opponents master is probably a recipe for failure. We were also supposed to have another guest on the show in the form of Rich Padget (another warmachine podcaster) but unfortunately he was unable to make it. He did send in a big list of questions for us though which means we cover things like the amount of terrain you need on a Malifaux board, do shooting crews rule the roost and if 'jam lists' - yes I didn't know what this meant either - are a valid crew design.Hopefully you will find it interesting and we will see you again in a couple of weeks where no doubt we will be talking about our performances at Vappa and what we are taking to the Lost Love 2 event. If you need more of us, and frankly who wouldn't, check out the new Fools Daily show which you can also find on iTunes.

 Episode 73 - He’s behind you | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Welcome to 2014 :) We are joined by a special guest star this week in the form of Ben Sime (@psientologist) from the Malibros to talk about various things that have been kicking off on Twitter over the past couple of weeks. This means that we talk about quite a lot of diverse stuff including shuffling cards (yes really), painting requirements at tournaments, rankings and all the gaming we got up to over the holidays. We also talk about the new show that we are planning on doing 'Fools Daily' and how Conrad has caused this show to become a biweekly, cause its totally his fault. Hastag for that is #blameconradSee you in a couple of weeks (feels very wierd saying that)

 Episode 72 - I could have been a contender | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Its a masters special this week. Joel and I talk about the qualifiers and then we drop into the conference call where the draw was done. Apologies for the sound quality on that, it didn't come out as well as I hoped. After that Joel and I are back with our thoughts on the pools and some brief predictions.Back next week with our normal type of show

Episode 71 - I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

So this was supposed to be the second part of our end of year Q&A but a series of power cuts at Marshall Mansions (must think about putting in my own nuclear reactor) soon put a stop to that. However we did get a few questions knocked off the list and I thought it was worthwhile pushing them out even if we do cut off halfway through an answer. Thanks from all of us for listening to the show this year, we would still record even if noone listened but its nice to know that folks do and more enjoy our often inane ramblings. We are taking our Christmas break now and will be back with the show in the New Year, hopefully just before the Isle of Faux event.Stay safe
