On our 2nd Podcast of E3 2016, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Sony took to the stage to deliver their 2016 lineups. While Microsoft managed to deliver some good stuff, they ultimately failed to prevent almost everything from leaking prior to the show. Ubisoft delivers a few surprises but remained safe in the end. E3 hasn't even started yet technically but EA and Bethesda held their annual E3 Showcase's today and despite some bad luck actually attending the event, we had plenty to talk about. We cover everything from EA's lackluster lineup and frustrating refusal to show significant portions of their games to Bethesda's major reboot of the Prey IP and impressive showing of Dishonored 2 gameplay. Blizzard is poised to launch Overwatch; the shooter that rose from the Ashes of project Titan and to our delight, the game is incredibly solid despite being way outside of Blizzard's usual comfort zone. Disney and JJ Abrams have just dropped a new Star Wars film in our laps and have essentially kick started a whole new generation of fandom. To our surprise (despite a few missteps), the film is quite good and we are all riding the Star Wars high until May of 2017 when Episode 8 hits theaters! The gaming apolocalypse has begun. Fallout 4 is out in the wild and lives are being ruined (or that's what the internet is telling me at least).
