During a recent visit to Portland, I scheduled a stop off at De Garde Brewing. Having had a few of their beers in the past, I was expecting good things. When I arrived my expectations were completely shattered. Without qualification, De Garde was the most impressive brewery I have ever visited. Their total and unwavering commitment to wild fermentation is unmatched, to my knowledge, anywhere in the world - and yes that includes the Senne Valley. I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this interview with Trevor Rogers, Head Brewer and one half of De Garde Brewing. Enjoy!
