Emperor is the musical Super Duo who have combined their talents. The members consist of Garreth Hay (G-Terra) and Saint Michael. Both of Jamaican decent these two artist formed Emperor and have been non stop talent sice laying their ears on one another.Combine two crossover songwriting super-talents with boatloads of culture and you get the likes of the Super-Group, EMPEROR. Consisting of the international celebrity songwriter, Saint Michael hailing from the city of Fayetteville, NC and the Spanish Town, Jamaica born and bred G-Terra, this dangerous duo transcends the definition of versatility. It's a difficult task to categorize this bilingual phenomenon. Despite the short time the group has been together they have managed to produce Radio Bangers ranging everywhere from Hardcore Pop, Rap & R&B to New School & Old School Dancehall. The first song Emperor recorded was a party track entitled "Kawasaki" featuring the International Club Favorite "Dj Unk" and was produced by none other than Reggae Hit Maker Jon FX, Producer of Gyptian's "Hold Yuh" and many other songs. Emperor is already slated to make a big Feature Film appearance in the Jamaican Crime Action-Drama "Hot Steppas" (Summer 2012) along side a host of A-List Jamaican and American Actors and Musicians. Saint Michael and G-Terra's lyrical ability, delivery and energy compliments each unbelievably and they can only be described as each others mirror. What's interesting is G-Terra started as a reggae artist and crossed over into Hip Hop, Pop and other genres. Conversely, Saint Michael started as a Hip Hop artist and crossed over into Reggae, Pop and other genres. Now these two Kings in their own right have merged their Kingdoms to fall under one crown."Emperor To Di World!!"

 UNLEARN-Lets Talk This over | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 230

UnLearn is UnLearning The World In a climate darkened by artists and executives who focus more on commercial success than societal impact, UnLearn has been grinding to shine his light in the name of all things Hip Hop; the music, the culture and the movement. As an Emcee, Poet, Actor and Activist, this Washington Heights, New York native has garnered a reputation for his energy and keen ability to grab listener’s attention with charismatic delivery and soulfully inspired lyrical content. He appeals to old and new fans alike as a wordsmith of the people, focused on creating "Ghetto Anthems” and “Corner store Soul-Music”, in order to become one of the truer and more influential voices in Hip Hop. UnLearn takes the best from all dimensions of song writing in order to create his substantive, yet accessible brand of lyricism. He partners his unique life story with studies in history, politics and spirituality as a means to explore the human condition of the inner city, articulate its sentiments and chronicle the emotions, triumphs and tragedies that make up the Urban American experience. In his High School years, in addition to the many talent shows, open mics and frequent appearances on Manhattan Public Access Hip Hop shows, UnLearn sat in studio sessions for artists like Fat Joe and the Late Big Pun and recorded songs with underground mainstays such as Jean Grae and Pumpkin Head. He began receiving serious notoriety when he was given the chance to join the 2003 Lyricist Lounge Club Series Tour, opening up for the group Boot Camp Click. Positive audience responses to his live show allowed him to extend his stint on the tour, continuing on the road for another two months, performing spot dates with acts like Young Bloodz, Dead Prez, Killa Mike, Killa Priest and Hip Hop Icon, Big Daddy Kane. After moving to the Bay Area from New York City after being evicted from his apartment, UnLearn's new found sense of self and maturity would manifest itself in his 2005 release of “Confessions of A Dangerous Mind”, his first mix tape project released via the internet for free download, standing at the forefront of the digital music wave. The project was well received by a number of Hip Hop Web magazines and blogs, solidifying UnLearn’s presence on the internet. In addition to being a featured artist on a slew of Hip Hop web sites, he would later contribute to HipHopGame.com as an Essayist and Op-Ed writer, touching on social issues from a Hip Hop perspective. Since then, UnLearn has worked with a myriad of artists and producers from the Hip Hop world including names like Jake One, Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, WyldFyre, Wordsmith and Donny Goines, gradually creating a space, all his own, within the independent marketplace. Most recently, off the acclaim from his free mix tape series, “Intelligent Design" Volumes 1-3 and his "Best of UnLearn Vol. 1" mix tape, UnLearn created his start-up multi-media production company (Intelligent Design Media Group, LLC.) which would serve as the new outlet to promote his music and other projects. In addition to his urban alternative news website and social network ItzAllAHustle.com and his weekly podcast audio blog, UnLearn is set to debut his first album, "The Wake Up Call", slated for a Summer 2012 release. Though Hip Hop is wrought with many voices, UnLearn is choosing to be the voice of Reason, striving to add something new to the collective consciousness and internal dialogue of Hip Hop culture and urban communities at large. Unlike most up and coming artists, UnLearn's aim is not to be Hip Hop's next "King" or "Boss", but to carve out a unique niche for himself as Hip Hop's next great Thinker; a brand that aims to harness the spirit and dreams of leaders like Malcolm X and Martin Luther King and mix them with the passion, street savvy and artistic genius of Tupac, Nas and KRS-One. UnLearn seeks to create social change by inviting his listeners to witness his own struggles and transformation with(continued)
