When I first started this talk show, it was because I felt as if I had something to say.  I was sick with what I was seeing on TV and I wanted to voice my opinion about it. 325 shows later I still haven't found a reason to stop talking.  I'm hoping that if I stay on the air long enough that people will start listening and contributing to the cause.  What's the cause?  Thinking for yourself and using common sense. Too many young people consume garbage on a regular basis.  Vine videos, Instragram memes, reality TV, texting acronyms instead of sentences, etc.  If it takes little to no efforts then a young person will do it. But, what if this is all they consume?  What if the only source of news on their "smartphone or tablet comes from E! ad TMZ?  What if the only TV shows they watch involve a camera that follows people around and multiple fist fights?  What if the only music they listen to contains materialism and lyrics disrespecting women? You're at the mall with your new mate when your ex notices you and tries to get your attention.  Do you ignore?  Acknowledge?  What do you do? We can allow our ex's to put us in some very compromising positions if we're not open, honest and direct.  That can make dating after your ex extremely difficult if not impossible. Joining a gym is something that's more common these days.  Getting in shape is something that just about everyone considers at some point.  However, the atmosphere at the gym can be intimidating to some. What happens when a 300 lb. man who doesn't know his way around the weight room shows up?  Will "Mr. Olympia" wait patiently while the newbie tries to figure out a new machine? How will a 220 lb. woman feel on the treadmill next to a 115 lb. Victoria's Secret model? In today's "microwave society," it's all about "the now."  The future is rarely considered.  That's probably why there's so much bad decision-making these days.  People are so focused on today that they fail to see how things will be affected on tomorrow.  #YOLO Well, President Obama has signed a new plan into effect that I think everyone who isn't rich should take part in now: My RA. Don't get me wrong. If this ever happens, then I doubt that it will occur in our lifetime.  However, is the U.S. growing too quickly?  When you think of how cities basically pop up overnight across the country are we running out of resources? Destroying the environment appears to be contributing to climate change, growing unemployment numbers and poverty in the States.  Could our leaders actually create a law that limits how many kids a family/parent can have?  Would that be beneficial to the country in the long term? #T2Q celebrates Black History month by offering some perspective.  Three black women: a 20-something, a 30-something and a 40-plus something are all asked the same 11 questions.  Each one will provide 11 answers all from the perspective of their generational upbringing. I'll ask them things like the following: what is your impression of black women on reality TV? what do you think other races feel about black women? what is your opinion of blk men in general?
