 Douglas Gibb - TarotEon and a Smorgasboard of Tarot - Aug 01,2010 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:31:00

Today we delve into learning everything from court cards, to doubling up cards for meanings, to using timing with tarot, to wacky card meanings! Douglas Gibb is a rising tarot star, and his ultra-creative blog has caught the tarot world by storm! Doug started with Tarot when he was a teenager and took it up seriously when he was about 20 years old. He went pro several years later and has been working as a pro tarot reader ever since. Doug set up Tarot Eon as a way to help him overcome the, "Tarot is just a job" feeling that developed directly after burning out. Doug realized that he'd forgotten the reasons why he loved the Tarot. He wanted to remember! Over the years Doug has changed his mind on many different areas of Tarot - "I'm forever contradicting myself. However, I think this is a sign of a healthy attitude. I'm constantly looking to re-evaluate." Check out Doug's website and incredible, educational blog at: www.taroteon.com

 Tarot of the Crone with Ellen Lorenzi-Prince - Jul 31,2010 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:31:00

Class Handout: http://www.divinewhispers.net/crone.htm Join us to learn about The Tarot of the Crone & share a mini-class on using these cards. We will also do an activity that can be applied to any deck, so bring your favorite deck & join us for some good, modern tarot fun! Ellen Lorenzi-Prince, creator of Tarot of The Crone, demonstrates a spread that should speak to our souls while at the same time teach us about the concept of the crone in our lives & the hidden gems in her deck. Ellen's deck is new vision inspired by ancient Greek art, religion & myth. The Crone is the ancient holy one. She is grandmother, witch and hag. She has been ignored, trivialized, blamed & feared, for she holds powers that others deny. Powers of time & transformation. Powers we may fear, but would do better to understand. In a magical moment 25 ago, Ellen was given her first tarot deck. It has been an integral part of her spiritual path ever since. Her own deck, Tarot of the Crone, was created as an offering to her goddess, as a path to strength during a dark time, & as a way to delve more deeply into what tarot meant to her. Since discovering power & healing through that process, Ellen's focus has shifted from reading & teaching to creation & imagination. In addition to using tarot for plot & character development in her writing, she has designed & produced the Pandora Tarot, Tarot Paper Dolls, & the upcoming Minoan Tarot. Open your decks tonight & we'll work on connecting with our souls together.
