US weekly jobless claims report remained near 14-year lows; August FHFA report +0.5% monthly price gain.
Mixed picture: FTSE +0.4%, DAX +0.6%, S&P -0.7%, Dow -0.9%; this suggests Aus market's run of positive trading has come to an end.
