It's the morning after The Games Awards 2020. James is well-rested having ignored the entire thing, while Matthew is running on fumes after a late night infusion of 5 hours pure, uncut hype. There's a Just Cause mobile game on the horizon, new characters in Smash Bros. and Fortnite, and of course the results of the Mobile Game of the Year. New releases include the open beta of League of Legends: Wild Rift, Steamworld Quest, and a wee chat about XCOM 2 Collection.

Galactus has been vanquished from Fortnite, and you'll be pleased to hear our heroes James and Matthew had precisely nothing to do with it. In other news, we finally get some info about how the Apple Arcade games are faring in the wild. New releases include sci-fi FMV thriller The Complex, Startup Panic, WWE Undefeated, and more.

Normal service is resumed, with James and Matt back after weeks of digital conferences, online streaming initiatives, and other things that don't involve playing games. Happily there's plenty of news to catch up on, including a new Tomb Raider game, the final chapter in the Apple vs Epic saga, and the sequel to Fruit Ninja that everyone has been waiting for. Right? RIGHT?!

This week, James and Matthew catch Microsoft sneaking beneath the App Store's iron curtain and allowing you to play Xbox games on your iPhone (though perhaps not the way you intended). They also celebrate the first appearance of the original Fire Emblem game in the West, and the deets of the latest Dead Cells mobile update. New releases include Far: Lone Sails, Space Frog Intern, Spooky Squashers, and more.

James and Matt are back with hot Apple news - specifically, the reveal of this year's iPhones and their distinct lack of bundled accessories. They also cover Korn's appearance in World of Tanks: Blitz, and Xcom 2 Collection coming to mobile. New releases include Hot Wheels Unlimited, Poor Thief, Sword Master Story, and more.

This week, James and Matthew play Breath of the Wild on mobile, only to discover they're playing a completely different game called Genshin Impact, which is both confusing and upsetting. There's a new mobile Dragon Quest game on the horizon, so that get's discussed, along with the latest nail in Stadia's already well hammered coffin. New releases include the excellent HoloVista, Ministry of Broadcast, Mario 35, and more.

This week, Matthew and James argue about just how much Amazon's new game streaming service, Luna, is ripping off the Xbox controller. There's also talk of Blackpink in your PUBG area, and the western release of NieR: Reincarnation. New releases include Songbringer, Rowdy City Wrestling, Swordshot, Ord., and more.

In the last podcast before PGCD Helsinki, Ric and James announce the official launch of PUBG on mobile (sort of)! They also cover Discovery coming to Star Trek: Fleet Command, and the upcoming Pac-Man Geo AR game. Also, Matthew reveals the biggest selling Nintendo Switch game this year, and he and James cover the mobile version of Smash Bros-style fighter Brawlhalla, plus party game Gogogo! and sci-fi auto-runner Super Glitch Dash.

With LaunchPad taken care of, James and Ric return to the regularly scheduled podcast to look at the newly revealed NieR Reincarnation beta footage.
