You see the excitement and great food of our tailgate party, which is hosted by "Tailgaters Barbecue Party......the Bad Boys of Barbecue", led by Kingsford Kirk. Raider Greg chats with several fans of the Raider Nation Podcast and Raider Nation Videocast. Darren and his wife Wendy, who traveled all the way from Utah for the game. Also Tom and Suzie from Orlando, Florida who traveled across the country to Oakland for the game. Mike Posadas, aka "The Cougar", fills in for Raider Greg on a couple of interviews. Mike speaks with two up and coming independent film makers from PITCH BLACK PICTURES. Executive Producer Trace Roberts and Production Manager Joe Michaud tell us about their current full length film project, which will be filmed in Martinez, California, entitled "Kristen Black". Last but not least, Raider Greg chats with Oscar aka "RaiderWilde", who traveled all the way from Brisbane Australia to see his favorite team, The Oakland Raiders. Oscar is staying in town long enough to also attend the second home game of the season against the Broncos. Look for him in the video for that game.

EPISODE #46 Raider Greg speaks with Ricky Ricardo, owner of the famous Ricky's Sports Theater in San Leandro California (right next to Oakland). Ricky’s is one of the best places to party the night before a home game, or any other time. Known far and wide as THE Raiders fan hangout, and is even frequented by Raiders players and ex-players. Oakland Raiders great John Vella has his Raiders memorabilia store adjoining Ricky’s. In this video episode, Raider Greg and Ricky discuss Raiders players who have not yet made the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and which of those they think are most deserving of being inducted. The topic of special teams players, and kickers in particular came up. Ray Guy has been nominated several times, but never makes it to the final cut. Greg and Ricky talk about how Ray Guy affected games he played in with field position and they make a strong case that he should be inducted into the hall.

The Raider Nation Podcast/Videocast crew (Greg and Randy) traveled to Kansas City for our annual Raiders away game of 2009. The Chiefs fans were very gracious hosts and Raider Nation was well represented at the game, as you can see in this video. Raider Greg was lucky enough to get an interview with Raiders legend RB Pete Banaszak. As Pete tells us in the video, he played 13 years for the Raiders (the only team he ever played for). During his 13 seasons the Raiders went to the playoffs 10 times, including 2 Superbowl victories. Others tailgating with us were Gorilla Rilla, Hulk Hogan Raider, The Million Dollar Raider, Rhinestone Raider, Hillbilly Raider, Juan Jorge, Nebraska Raider, Raider Jake from Iowa, and many more. We also got a few words from some Chiefs fans.

At all Raiders home games you can find Kingsford Kirk and his crew putting on one of the best tailgate parties in the NFL. As a matter of fact, they won the first annual “Supergate” tailgating competition in 2008, held at the Superbowl annually. Raider Nation Videocast’s Raider Greg and his partner Randy tailgate with Kirk and crew, and break out the video camera to interview fans and capture the pregame tailgating atmosphere. I’m getting hungry just watching this video. Can’t wait for the 2009 season!

Crusader Raider Keith Smith makes his annual crusade to Oakland from London, along with fellow Raiders diehard Big Dave Chapman. Daves brother Richard could not make the trip due to illness, but we send out our well-wishes to him. While in Oakland, Keith and Dave attended the Billetnikoff Foundation Celebrity Crab-Fest, the Panthers game in Oakland, and on his way back to London Keith stopped in Miami to watch the Raiders away game there. In this video we also see Raider Nation Podcast forum regular "Raider Mike", as well as Raider Greg's wife "Charmaniac". He hosted a charity party this night at the Famous Door on Bourbon Street, and the proceeds went to a deserving local family. Ex-Raider great John Vella speaks to the crowd. We start our 2008 Raiders preseason in style! We were the invited guests of David Casper, who sang the National Anthem this day, Friday August 8th, at the Raiders/49ers game in Oakland. We rode to the Coliseum in style....picked up in an official Oakland Raiders limousine. We watched the game from a luxury box, shared with the great Raiders quarterback Daryle Lamonica. The second part of our video was recorded two days later at the Raider Nation Celebration, where the fans were invited to watch an official training camp practice at the Coliseum.

We hear from Raiders fan Juan Jorge, who attended his first CTE dinner. He tells us who he met and shares his experience.

Two guys who chance upon our videocast traveled from Ontario Canada...one a Raiders fan and one a Broncos fan. We speak with podcast regulars Raider Frank, Robert Moorehead, and Juan Jorge. Greg’s firefigher buddy John tells stories of when he used to sneak into the Raider games over 30 years ago. He is accompanied Dennis, another firefighter.
