Sleep Spell

The party awaits their next mission in their clients vast aviary, surrounded by birds of all shapes, sizes, and colors. They wander around looking at those with two sets of wings or singing peculiar songs -- that is when they hear the harp. Somewhere deep in the aviary is a harp, playing a slow and redundant tune that seems to be beckoning them closer. After an intense battle the Bard has fallen in combat; their wounds were too grave and the Cleric was out of spells. So, the party hoists the Bard onto their shoulders and begins the trek back to the surface. There isn't a word shared between the remaining party members but even the halls of the cave seem to mourn the loss of the musician. Soft tones and hums come from the Bard's gear; their pack emits a soft hymn, their hand-harp plays on it's own, and the many different sheaf's of the bard's own music seem to come to life adding their sadness to the song. The party has descended to depths unknown below the Lighthouse, so far down they can no longer hear the waves from the ocean. All around them are moss and lichen covered rocks, dripping rivulets of water, and the constantly increasing pressure of moving downwards. As the party makes an uneasy camp for the night, the bard plays a slow tune to try and drown out the pressure.
