Summary: Is there a person in your life who really knows you? A person who knows what you’re thinking by the look on your face even? A person who understands you and will stick with you? For me, it’s my wife and my children and a few other friends. They can tell by the look in my eye that I’m being playful, and when I’m very serious. They know how to react when I’m having a tough day too. Did you know that Jesus knew you before you were even born? A young man once called a radio program to speak with me. He was facing a difficult situation and struggling with how to be a man of God. He was a new believer and needed some encouragement. This is what I told him: God knows your heart! He knows each of us better than anyone else! It says in Isaiah 49:16 that God has engraved us on the palm of His hand. This young man needed to hear that God knows him thoroughly, and not only that, God delights in him and loves him. He even likes him. And what gives God the greatest joy? When we delight in Him. Psalm 37:4 says, - listen to this - “Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Encourage others this week to remember that God knows and loves them inside and out.
