Summary: Earlier this year, the files for the Red Star OS were leaked by a Russian exchange student studying in North Korea. In this Brief, we're going to take a look at the operating system--meant for use in what many consider to be the most isolated country on this planet. Being a nerd, I was curious to know what computers looked like in North Korea. What happens when you try to access blogs, facebook, or the Here Be Monsters homepage. So I downloaded and installed it, played some games, listened to old Here Be Monsters shows, surfed the web...you know.
