SLC 2011- Circling the Wagons 01: 1st General Session with Carol Lynn Pearson, Lee Beckstead and David Zabriskie

Summary: The 1st annual Circling the Wagons conference was held in November of 2011.  The goal of the conference was to create a space where LGBTQ or SSA individuals and their families and allies can gather to acknowledge, explore and honor shared experiences. In the 1st general session: Lee Beckstead Ph.D. discusses his experience as a therapist to LGBTQ Mormons David Zabriskie & the Conference Chorus perform an original composition based on Carol Lynn Pearson's poem called "Pioneers" Carol Lynn Pearson speaks about the "Gay/Lesbian Hero's Journey"
