Summary: Kindlings Fest is a celebration of art and ideas and where they intersect with the spiritual.  This years Kindlings Fest on Orcas Island asked, âCan Crabbed age and youth live together?" Through film, talks, panel discussions, art, music and casual conversations we explored what it is that keeps generations apart and what can bring them together. Each morning at Kindlings Fest, Dr. Jerry Root presented a meditation on the theme. Exploring the wounds of absent and present fathers, how generational wounds and blessings can shape communities, Jerry challenges us to consider where Love has precedent in how we engage each other in community.
