UKIE is the only trade body for the UK’s wider interactive entertainment industry. It exists to champion the interests, needs and positive image of the videogames and interactive entertainment industry whose companies make up its membership. In February 2012 UKIE released its Crowdfunding Report, which outlines why access to finance is a key barrier to growing the interactive entertainment industry in the UK.
