First you will need to go to twitter.com and then click on the Get Started - Join button (see screen shot below) Once you click on the get started button you will need to complete the process. During this process I recommend that you find a good close up picture of yourself so that you can use immediately for your bio pic. The bio section is very important when getting started with Twitter. People will get to know you and the first impression is key. If somebody was searching for others with the same interests then it will be much easier to find them if that information is within the bio.
