Biodegradable Twine for Crab Pots

Summary: A simple change in materials will help crab fisherman be better stewards of their stock starting next season. The fishermen themselves suggested using biodegradable twine in their traps. The move will allow crab pots that can't be recovered to release their catch. Until now, those pots continued to catch crab indefinately. To find out more, our David Newell spoke to John Boland.
