Review #85 Slither

Film History on Videotape Podcast show

Summary: Who says horror comedy is dead? This entry in our series of Horror Comedies for the month of October is a much looked over flick from 2006 called Slither. To cut to the chase its about when a small town becomes under attack by space worms that turn them into zombies. Sound pretty generic and par for the course? A great cast with a lot of clever humor and some really good gore and creature effects make all the difference. Nathan Fillion, Elizabeth Banks, and Michael Rooker star in former Troma director James Gunn's directorial debut and comes out swinging. Or slithering. Man there is a lot of gross stuff in this one we gotta tell ya. Happy Halloween from Film History on Videotape! Length [00:21:26m] Download this episode (right click and save)
