Televised Revolution – Episode 261

Televised Revolution show

Summary: We have a bonus podcast this week with Dan Barrett sitting down with the Festival Director of the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF), Richard Moore. The two of them discuss the blurring lines between film and television, how film festival distribution has been affected by the digitization of media, and a bit more generally about BIFF. It is a GREAT chat and regardless of whether you've ever attended BIFF, you should find it to be both interesting and revelatory. BIFF is one of the highlights of Brisbane's cultural calendar. Be sure to check out this years line-up at the BIFF website or download their app (available for both iPhone and Android). The festival runs this year from 14-25 November. At Televised Revolution, we look forward to receiving your mail and check us out on the Twitter. You can also find the podcast on iTunes (please leave us a review, it helps people find the show).
