Summary: Joe Perrone Jr. was a sportswriter for the Passaic-Clifton, NJ, Herald News, as well as a freelance advertising copywriter. He was also a professional fly-fishing guide on the Beaverkill River in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. He also authored Escaping Innocence, a coming-of-age novel, set in the tumultuous '60s. He co-authored "Gone Fishin' with Kids (How to Take Your Kid Fishing and Still be Friends)" with Manny Luftglass, published by Gone Fishin' Publications, Annandale, NJ. He is presently at work on a new mystery, Opening Day, the second in the Matt Davis mystery series. Joe will be talking about novel writing and will be delving into the self-publishing process.
