Summary: Here is a tune that has stuck with me for over ten years now, and is a staple for me when I play at Old folks homes and such. On the fiddle I treat it as a ballad style, and on the Tenor Banjo more of a dance tune. I have heard many Irish bands play this tune at "sub-light speed", and then again have heard fiddlers play it quite slowly and sweetly.
