Liberty Conspiracy - Privacy and Markets v Gubment, Selling Body Parts, Rare Good Reporters

Liberty Conspiracy show

Summary: Greetings! Welcome back to the Liberty Conspiracy. In this production, we offer you news on the problems Google is having in the EU, first, with its possible invasion of privacy, and then with the EU attacking it under so-called "antitrust" violations. Antitrust laws are weapons that gubments use to attack large companies, ostensibly to stop "unfair trade" of monopolies. But, as we explain, they tend to be used by politicians to extort businesses that have grown large through serving consumers, and who have not been raising their prices beyond what the market will allow. We explain why free market companies, even if they are big, will not "gouge" the consumer, and why the only companies that can do so are the companies given a legal monopoly by gubment. We also discuss what might at first seem like a grisly topic: the selling of body parts, and relate that to freedom and the ownership of oneself. Then, we get to slam around the actions and thoughts of the statist politician named Elizabeth Warren, who can't seem to back up her own claims about her background, but would like to tell your neighbors how to lead their lives and run their businesses. With music by Arctic Monkeys "Don't Sit Down Because I've Moved Your Chair", The Psychedelic furs "Forever Now", The Grassy Knoll "Conversations with Julian Dexter", Fitz and the Tantrums "Moneygrabber", Danko Jones "Suicide Woman" and "Love Is Unind", Johnny Cash "Man in Black", Massive Attack "Man Next Door" and "Pray for Rain", and The Horrors "Gloves". Hope you buy their stuff! Be Seeing You!
