This weekend in Ireland saw numerous county finals on offer but there was plenty to look forward to elsewhere, as across the Irish Sea, Tir Chonaill Gaels and Kingdom Kerry Gaels lined out to decide the winners of the 2012 London Senior Football Championship. The Kingdom, last year’s league winners, had been something of a surprise packet in reaching the final yet impressed when putting out holders Fulham Irish in the quarter final. Meanwhile Tir Chonaill, undefeated throughout the championship, were every-bodies favourites to add a 15th title in this their 50th year.
