Summary: Speaker: Blake Jennings Scripture: Malachi 2:17-4:6 Series: Ezra, Haggai, Nehemiah, Malachi Series Order: 28 Just like the Israelites in Malachi's day, we are often limited by short-sighted vision which sees life only as it is at this moment, when God is not yet judging sin or rewarding righteousness. And in that short-sightedness, sin becomes excusable and even reasonable. But in this passage, God corrects our vision so that we can see long-range as He does. God reminds us that His perfect and unbearable justice is coming to earth when Christ returns, and it will utterly destroy His enemies. And he reminds us that on that Day, He will reward our righteous deeds beyond our wildest dreams. So live everyday of this life in light of that Day when Christ returns.
