HMPC 0319 “Choices” - Buffy The Vampire Slayer * Hello Sunnydale and welcome to the Hellmouth Podcast for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Series, Season 3 Episode 19 titled “Choices” * Happy Birthday Buffy * Twitter has changed to @HellmouthEmpire * OMWF Project * Investigating Angel Details o After the season 3 recap I will be recording the podcast for Buffy season 4 episode 1 “The Freshman” o After that, the next podcast I will release will be Angel Season 1 Episode 1 “City Of…” o From then on, the way it is going to work is I will release the episodes for each respective show in the order in which they aired on television. Most weeks it will alternate back and forth between Buffy and Angel, some weeks it will be two Angel then Buffy, again it just depends on how the episodes aired on television. o So at the end of each podcast, I will tell you what is coming next whether it is the Hellmouth Podcast or Investigating Angel. * Investigating Angel Contest o All you have to do is send me an email (hellmouthpodcast@gmail.com (mailto:hellmouthpodcast@gmail.com)) with “Angel Contest” in the subject line and the body of the email can say whatever you want but it needs to say something to the effect of please enter me in the contest. o I will pick a random winner and announce the winner during the season 3 recap episode. o you have until Feb 10th to submit your entries. § Only one entry per person, only for US and Canada, sorry New Zealand but for this first contest, I am trying to keep the shipping costs down. o I will pick the winner and then I will contact you via email to get your shipping info. So you don’t need to send me your address with your original contest entry. * U-Stream of the Season 3 recap episode o So the reason that I am going to announce the winner in the Season 3 recap episode is because I am taking a recent cue from the Potentialcast folks and the Season 3 recap episode I am going to stream live on UStream. So February 11th at 8pm CST I will be Ustreaming the season 3 recap episode. * 2-Minute Buffy o The mayor gives Faith a token of his love and affection, a murder inciting knife. o He has a job for her picking up a box at the airport. o Buffy and Angel are having a night out together, patrolling the cemetery and killing vampires, wondering if this is what the rest of their life together will be like. o The next day at school the Scoobies are talking about ‘the future’. Xander is taking a cross country roadtrip, Willow got into every college everywhere. Buffy got into Northwestern and is trying to figure out a way to leave Sunnydale and go to college. o She decides that her best bet is to take the fight to the mayor and try to be proactive instead of reactive. o Buffy finds out about the Box of Gavrok which the mayor needs to complete his ascension. o She and the gang synchronize their non-existent watches and break into the mayor’s office to steal the box. o Everything goes about as well as you would expect. o Buffy and Angel get the box but not before the Mayor and Faith get Willow. o Now the group must decide whether to destroy the box or trade it to get Willow back. o Willow, during her incarceration, manages to get her hands on the books of ascension. She reads fast a furiously until she is discovered by Faith. o Faith and Willow exchange words about how disturbed Faith is and how Willow isn’t afraid of her. Things start to get heated but it is time for the exchange so they all head to the high school.
