Senior Hockey Update

The Central Newfoundland Morning Show from CBC Radio Nfld. and Labrador (Highlights) show

Summary: The Mount Pearl Blades asked for a year off last week. The senior hockey club was finding it hard to attract players for the upcoming season. They also have found it hard to get fans - and their money - into the rink. That means the players they DID have on their roster had no where to play. Last night, the five remaining teams of the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League held a draft to disperse those players. George Scott is the senior hockey league's play-by-play man and knows the league inside out.
