Beef Recall

The Central Newfoundland Morning Show from CBC Radio Nfld. and Labrador (Highlights) show

Summary: The list of recalled beef products originating from a plant in Brooks, Alberta now contains more than 500 different items. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there's a possibility the beef is tainted with e-coli. Yesterday, the expanded recall named products sold all across this province, in Save Easy, Dominion and Co-op stores. That's got a lot of people worried about how safe the meat sold in our supermarkets really is. Kristie Jameson is with the province's Food Security Network.
