Summary: A huge week in wrestling news and Brian has his soapbox real good on this week’s episode of Running The Ropes! This week, the guys talk about Rey Mysterio’s second suspension and why it might be a good idea for Rey Rey to retire. Also: Does Paul Heyman really have input with Brock Lesnar’s new gimmick in WWE? Why is Hornswaggle tagging with Brodus Clay? The guys then talk about an idea involving Eve Torres is actually something taken out of TNA’s playbook (surprise, surprise). After that, Brian sounds off on Andy Leavine’s release and what this means to be a winner of Tough Enough. Why, for some reason, the winners of the shows never lasted and why some runner-ups go on to become champions.
In the second hour, Brian and Chris talk about a possible plan for Robert Roode and James Storm to go head to head at Bound For Glory. TNA Lockdown also drew a pretty big number for TNA but find out how much that is and exactly why TNA is pretty happy with themselves. The guys talk also about WWE Raw and why Brock Lesnar seems to be more of the annoying heel. So much so that even EDGE is coming out to beg Cena to beat him at Extreme Rules. Plus, is the Big Show in trouble? Is tagging with Khali a good thing or a bad thing? Also, Beth Phoenix is selling her injury. Where is this storyline leading?
This plus the amazing field sobriety test and lots more on the official podcast of the Unchained Wrestling Network, Running The Ropes!
