JGF 010, Monster Catfish in Nueces River

Just Go Fishin Podcast show

Summary: Welcome to JGF Tales and Reports Podcast Episode 010 This week we profile a long time Texas fisherman Dave Wyble here in Swinney Switch on the Nueces River.  Dave has been fishing this area for years with a lot of success catching several Monster Catfish. Some of these cathfish are so big he couldn't get into the boat, he had to drag them to shore. The photo above shows his backyard where he enjoys fishing almost daily. While I was visiting Dave at his ranch he shared with me some of his catches the last few years. He catches so many that he doesn't take very many pictures these days but he's got some good stories. We hope you enjoy some of his pictures he shared with us to publish here at justgofishin.net. Dave says that catfish really go for Zote Soap. That's primarily all he uses. He likes to use the Trot-line rig, Limb-Lines and Jug-Lines for going after Catfish, Monsters of the Nueces River. Be sure to check Texas Parks and Wildlife for current regulations.
