Summary: Did you know that 70% of mergers or acquisitions fail outright and that 55% of the remaining merged companies fail within 3 years? A major reason for these statistics is due to the two organization’s failure to effectively combine their cultures. It’s critical that leaders understand the cultural dynamics of the other organization. These dynamics can be influenced by a country’s culture and attitude toward work, industry trends, and the company’s own unique history. We will be asking our panel of cultural coaches what organizations have done to pull off a successful merger and how cultural coaching can be used to ease the transition.
