Before there was Pirate Bay, you would have to go to horror conventions and meet up with other collectors. My exposure to what you would call cult or underground films was networking with a lot of like-minded people. As a film fan now, I have access to everything at my fingertips. Do I want to watch John Waters? I can easily download his entire filmography with a streaming subscription. What is it like nowadays to be a cult or underground filmmaker?
