Episode 260: WELS Guys Discuss LCMS History: Seminex

Let the Bird Fly! show

Summary:
* 01:45 - Introduction
* 00:00 - Free-for-All (No Free-for-All)
* 07:30 - Main Topic (WELS Guys Discuss LCMS History: Seminex)

In episode TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY, Jason, Mike, and Wade are joined by our colleague and friend, the Rev. Dr. Joel Pless. We discuss the Seminary in Exile at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis as the anniversary of the event quickly approaches, giving our WELS perspective on what happened, including how it shaped our synod, too. Joel is a graduate of CSL and Jason is a current student. Jason seems to plan to continue his studies, so we must not have been too hard on CSL or the LCMS.

Joel joining us means we have now produced first ever episode with the whole theology department participating (there are only four of us in the department right now, although we hope that will change soon). We really enjoyed the conversation with Joel and we think you will, too. We hope you enjoy the episode!

Let the Bird Fly! is supported by the 1517 Podcast Network, which is part of 1517.org.
