Summary: Part of a new generation of young wine producers in Abruzzo, Francesco Cirelli purchased his first parcel of land in 2003 to start Azienda Agricola Cirelli, now 23 hectares, all organically farmed. He began as a winemaker "garagiste" with the goal of making amphora-fermented wines with minimal intervention.
