Summary: More and more adults are getting diagnosed with adhd. The most common type of adhd is attention deficit hyperactivity. It's often diagnosed in children, but I don't know that it occurs any more often in adults. I think that the most likely answer is that people are more aware of it and they're being diagnosed better.
