Summary: TVC 612.3: Greg Ehrbar reviews the Archive of American Television DVD release of The Barbara Stanwyck Show (NBC, 1960-1961), the Emmy Award-winning anthology series that Stanwyck hosted and produced in conjunction with Desilu Studios. Stanwyck starred in all but four of the thirty-six episodes in the series, usually playing strong, independent women (not unlike who Stanwyck was in real life).
